ON BABIES
Regular followers of Plankind will know
a) From time to time, we do a “one-stop-wonder” in this blog
b) The prima facie blog title will have some wordsmithery and a unique take
If you’re new to the United Plandom, and you were expecting a blog On Babies to be about parenthood, or haven’t they grown so fast and look at them on [insert year here] of school photos, then buckle up and get ready for your first ride aboard the good ship MMAP.
People seem to be feeling the turbulence at this autumnal change in season and schedule. So, this fortnight, this Philosopher-in-Residence is suggesting an infant-themed life hack to take control and reacquaint with ones values and compass.
Through the medium AND the lens of babies.
Babies have this old game of life down pat. Intensely focused on root-level Maslow needs and enjoying the inbetween. This is a wise approach to getting your self-care/self-support basics right when you’re a bit/lot bigger.
What’s your baby? By that, I mean something you care about most, want to nurture and grow and derive much joy and love from? Your baby, by that definition, is probably not staring at passive-aggressive email chains, doomscrolling social media, getting angry about things you have no control over. Think about why you started your job, relationship, hobby and set yourself the goal of spending at least half an hour this week planning how you will reset your compass to that due North.
Next fortnight, I’ll be writing On AI. Be sure to keep it real by dropping by and seeing what A, I, have to say.
Please get in touch with any particular aspects of this subject you’d like me to write about.
In the meantime,
Happy Planning
